On pre-Christmas Sunday, the Mayor of Banderas Bay, Rafael Cervantes Padilla, accompanied by the President of the System for Integral Family Development, Maria del Refugio Gomez de Cervantes, gave the inauguration ceremonies for the ice rink "Patinolandia."
The Patinolandia ice rink is located at Unidad Deportiva Municipal (Sports Stadium) in the San José del Valle colony of Puerto Vallarta.
Everybody is invited to enjoy the ice rink with free admission until January 18, 2014.
Youngsters under 5 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. You must be wearing clean socks and long pants to protect from scrapes in case of falling.
This is the second time that the ice rink has come to Banderas Bay for the holidays and the Mayor expressed his appreciation for all the support in getting this accomplished for our people to enjoy.
The Mayor continued that it is important that our town's inhabitants are able to practice the sport of ice skating as is done in other cities across the country this holiday season and that Banderas Bay is no exception.
