PEACE Mexico will hold its ArteVida Fundraising Gala in Puerto Vallarta on Friday, March 30.

ArteVida features the work of international artists and will take place at Casa Corona in El Centro from 6:00 - 10:00 pm. The line-up includes silent and live auction, live entertainment, food and beverages.

The live auction will include art with the artists in attendance. This is an exciting chance to meet the artists and to purchase great art by well-known artists at below gallery prices.

The evening will be a cocktail buffet with music by the popular singer and guitarist, Armando Silva, plus dancing under the stars. Valet parking will be available.

ArteVida will begin at 6:00 pm with opening of the Silent Auction. The art for the Live Auction will be installed at 6:15 with the auction beginning at 7:30 until 8:15 pm, when the entertainment will begin. The Silent Auction will close at 9:00 pm.

Food and Beverages will be served all evening provided by Frommer’s acclaimed Benitto’s Restaurant in Vallarta!

Items recently added to auctions include five nights for two persons at the heavenly La Casa Encantada in beautiful Patzcuaro. The stay includes a complimentary bottle of red or white wine or champagne, full gourmet breakfasts and secondary secured parking; a work of art, to be determined, donated by Jean Pierre Renucci, owner of Galeria Corsica;  a half day of fishing on Louis Drucker's panga, the "Babalu"; Two nights for two persons at the gorgeous Hacienda el Carmen, 45 minutes outside of Guadalajara; Two nights for two persons in a charming palapa on the beach at Hotel Lagunita in Yelapa; One night for eight persons at the fabulous Villa Mandarinas overlooking the site of the filming of Night of the Iguana; Stays at the luxurious Four Seasons Punta Mita resort; Stays at the historic and charming Casa Sayula Boutique Hotel; Jewelry designed by master goldsmith Anthony Garzino; and Jewelry donated by Melissa Suneson, owner of Daniel Espinosa.

All purchased art will be wrapped and can be taken the night of  the event - OR - delivery can be arranged for a later date.

Participating artists from Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Nayarit and Guadalajara who have donated to Arte Vida include Tomas Burkey, Vladimir Cora, Dra. Gabriela de la Vega, Mara Diaz, Steve Fischer, Jesse Izak, Zacarias Páez, Page Railsback, Gerardo Ruiz, Lee Chapman and Xicotencatl Padilla.

Tickets, priced at 750 pesos per person, can be purchased at the PEACE boutique, located at Plaza Romy (at Madero and Cárdenas streets) or from the following committee members: Carolyn Brussard-Lamb, Maria O'Connor, Gabriela Roman, Indalesio Sanchez, Fernando Valerio or Gretchen DeWitt.

All proceeds from the event will go to benefit the educational program and free spay/neuter clinics in Puerto Vallarta of PEACE (Protection, Education, Animals, Culture, and Environment), a nonprofit organization based in Punta de Mita, Nayarit, and operating throughout the Bay of Banderas.
