The Boutique Theatre has moved from our previous location at the corner of Naranjo and Basilio Badillo in Old Town Vallarta.
We are now sharing upstairs space with Nacho Daddy Mex Tex Restaurant & Bar at 287 Basilio Badillo in the Zona Romántica.
It’s a totally renovated air-conditioned intimate space… perfect for Dinner Theater!
A little history about The Boutique: After the closing of the Santa Barbara Theater on Olas Altas, there was a need for another venue to provide an outlet for the amateur performers of Puerto Vallarta. So, in the spring of 2010, Karrie and Ken Sebryk met with Cathy Von Rohr and agreed to turn her small studio into a 50-seat boutique theatre. And that venture quickly proved so successful that, in December of 2011, it was apparent that a larger space was needed. David Restivo, for example, wanted to stage The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas with a cast of 25 singers, dancers and a live 4-piece band! We then moved into our previous location of the former veterinarian supply store at the corner of Naranjo and Basilio Badillo. It was a huge success but due to some construction disagreements with the landlord, we decided to move on before the beginning of the 2014-2015 season.
Join us upstairs at Nacho Daddy for some great dinner theater and shows beginning on November 7, 2014 with performances including the Nunsense Dinner Show, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Midsummer Nights's Dream.
