I am seeking volunteers to assist in gathering raffle prizes for a fundraising I am organizing in February.
The Event is being called "New Beginnings." All monies raised will go directly to Compassion for the Family, the Banderas Bay Women's Shelter for abused women and their families. This is a non-profit association and they require monies to shelter these women until they can return to the real world with skills to help them survive.
This charity is very close to my heart and so to celebrate "my new beginning" my hopes are to raise funds for this worthy charity. I understand there are many many charities, but this one deserves a chance.
The event is being held at Luna Lounge in Bucerias on February 6th and will have snacks, music, and more.
Hugh and Simon are pulling all the details together and I will share more in the near future.
Details are in the works, but mark this date on your calendar to not only help me celebrate but also to give hope to other women.
The event is open to everyone who has followed my journey, my family, friends, neighbours, customers, and people I have yet to meet.
