Puerto Vallarta Men’s Chorus is celebrating the continued growth of the Chorus with our Winter Concert, Higher and Higher, Mucho Más Alto.
PVMC’s Winter Concert will present a musical picture of the progress of the Chorus, a “coming of age” metaphor in song. The concert represents a parallel struggle: the Chorus as it matures through its first few years of existence, and gay youth learning to surmount obstacles, find their identity and mature to adulthood.
The Winter Concert is the concept of PVMC’s new Artistic Director, Alfonso López. “Higher and Higher is about overcoming difficulties to the point where you believe in yourself, about growing our hearts and building our dreams. It’s a process in which we all participate.”
Enjoy our Higher and Higher concerts at Act II Stages – Main Stage, Insurgentes 300 (entrance on Basilio Badillo) in the Romantic Zone at 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 4; Friday, December 12; and Saturday, December 13.

El Coro Varonil de Puerto Vallarta (PVMC) celebra el continuo crecimiento del Coro con nuestro Concierto del Invierno, Higher and Higher, Mucho Más Alto.
El Concierto del Invierno de PVMC presentará un cuadro musical del progreso del Coro, una metáfora en canto del proceso de alcanzar su madurez. El concierto representa una lucha paralela: el Coro como madura durante los primeros años de su existencia, y los jovenes gay como aprenden a superar obstáculos, encontrar su indentidad, y madurar a ser adulto.
El Concierto del Invierno es el concepto del nuevo Director Artístico del PVMC, Alfonso López. “Mucho Más Alto se trata de superar las dificultades hasta el punto donde crees en ti mismo, sobre el crecimiento de nuestros corazones y construir nuestros sueños. Es un proceso en el que todos participamos.”
