Puerto Vallarta is pleased to welcome back Lorna Luft in four performances of her new show Accentuate the Positive.

Lorna will be entertaining us in the Red Room Cabaret of Act II Stages on February 11, 12, 13 and 14 at 7:30 pm.

She is the daughter of singer and actress Judy Garland and Sid Luft, and the half-sister of singer and actress Liza Minnelli.

Lorna Luft’s acclaimed career has encompassed virtually every arena of entertainment. A celebrated live performer, stage, film and television actress, best-selling author, recording artist and Emmy nominated producer - Lorna Luft continues to triumph in every medium with critics labelling her one of the most vibrant, versatile and exciting artists on stage today.

“Accentuate the Positive” will include many beloved standards, and in a special section, will pay tribute to Johnny Mercer, who has been called “America’s poet,” and was a close family friend. Mercer, who won 4 Academy Awards, also wrote the lyrics to Judy Garland’s television theme song. The song became “Lorna,” which Judy Garland sang to her daughter on her television show.

You'll be tapping your toes to songs such as Any place I Hang my Hat is Home, a gem by Mercer and Harold Arlen, Come Rain or Come Shine, Blues in the Night, Something’s Gotta Give and The Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe.
