We are an innovative non-profit organization based in Bucerias, Nayarit, Mexico.

Our work starts with our clients — local artisans, tradespeople, and small business owners. We then invite international travelers and students to visit and interact with our clients through day tours, academic seminars and internships programs.

These educational experiences facilitate profound cross-cultural exchange and are designed to help grow local businesses. About the Intern Coordinator Positions
 
Human Connections is hosting an internship program in Bucerias this winter. Twelve highly-motivated international university students are coming to learn from and contribute to our operations. We are looking for coordinators to work in tandem with our local staff to help oversee this internship program.

Job duties entail: translating interactions between the interns and our clients (local artisans), arranging program logistics (meals and transportation), or helping to create and lead educational workshops in our community center. We can structure this position to take advantage of the candidate's experiences and skills.

Qualifications
 
Must be 100% fluent in Spanish and at least 75% proficient in English. Experience working with non-profit organizations, education, business or nutrition is ideal. Candidates must reside in the Banderas Bay region, have their own car and be willing to drive our interns to different meetings in or near Bucerias.

Compensation: 100 pesos/hour (negotiable) + reimbursement for job-related costs like gasoline.
