Mexico Health & Wellness Travel Show on Medical Tourism Business "Puerto Vallarta 2015" extends the most cordial welcome to all medical tourism and health industry professionals. The beautiful city of Puerto Vallarta will be host of the only event of its kind in Mexico, considered one of the most important business platforms in the world with the firm intention of furthering the promotion, positioning and marketing of Mexico’s hospital services and incomparable tourist destinations.
President of the Congress of Medical Tourism, Carlos Arceo Real, reported at a press conference that this year the event returns home to Puerto Vallarta on December 7-9 for its sixth year. The past two years the Medical Tourism has been held in other cities in Mexico.
Real stressed that this conference is a strategic and innovative tourism product to highlight the diversification and revitalization of Mexico by promoting medical services and private hospital networks to position it as a world class destination for health tourism.
He said that this is one of the platforms of major health business worldwide and the only event of its kind in Mexico with 25 facilitators, travel agencies specializing in medical tourism, insurance companies and brokers; the realization of more than 3,150 business meetings are expected.
Twenty world-class speakers have been invited who will deliver the same number of innovative issues of medical tourism and wellness. Representatives of 300 business and health tourism public and private sectors are expected from six countries: the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina and, of course, Mexico.
The organizer said that it is determined to advance the promotion, positioning and marketing of hospital services in the unique tourist destinations in our country, but it is indispensable that hospitals are certified to meet the standards required for an American patient care.
Mexico offers hospitals that are certified by its General Health Council and that can ensure high standards of quality in medical care, physicians with great experience who have studied or have specialized in universities in the United States, Canada or Europe, and who have a perfect understanding of the idiosyncrasies of the American and Canadian patient. Hospitals are also internationally accredited by the Joint Commission International, which together with the national accreditation make Mexico a potentially competitive country in the health and medical tourism market.
Mexico’s hospitals, specialized clinics and doctors' offices offer treatments using the latest medical technology.
He explained that the congress includes participating hospitals, dental clinics, medical specialty, hotels, travel agencies, and tourist destinations that will provide preset appointments to meet with finance companies in medical treatments, insurers, brokers, travel agencies and corporate HR Companies from the US, Canada and Mexico with the intention to negotiate and sign trade agreements.
The Medical Tourism Congress, he added, is a consolidated national and international prestige due to the participation and partnership it has established with major consulting firms in the world and the link with experts and world leaders in medical tourism and 'wellness' signatures event who share their strategies for success and vision on the overall industry trend.
