Nothing to Do In Bucerias this Summer... NOT TRUE!
The Bucerias Library "Bilioteca Rey Nayar" is presenting a Fun-Raiser Party sponsored by Sharon Bell and The Shamrock Bar.
Come and join us for a fun night of games, contests, drink specials, music and much more.
The fun begins at 6:00 pm on Friday evening, June 22, for those of us older folks that have to get home to bed early. However the party will run until late, so if you have the stamina or are of the younger generation, you can party all night.
The Shamrock Irish Pub & Lounge is located at the corner of Av. Mexico and Calle Guarrero in Bucerias, Nayarit.
Funds raised will go to the purchase of a much needed, new software system to catalog and track all of the library's reading material.
Our Bucerias Library was built and stocked by volunteers and donations, mostly from the "gringo" population of Bucerias.
Donations of books, particularly books in Spanish for children, are needed, as well as craft supplies, table games, child-sized furniture and tech equipment, i.e. laptops and learning software, both in English and Spanish.
Our Library is fulfilling the dream of providing a library to the Spanish speaking community that offers a supportive base of resources in Spanish and English to the public schools and families, especially the children, of the Bucerias community.
