On November 12 and 14 the focus will be on Argentine Tango and the gifted duo of Miriam Krashnan and Froyamel Corro.
These exciting performers (semi-finalists at the World Tango Festival in Buenos Aires 2014 and 2015) will take the stage first at Xocolatl by Roberto’s on the highway near the traffic light in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle at 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 12, followed by a Milonga (social dancing to the music of Argentine Tango and more).
On Saturday, November 14, at 8:00 pm, Puerto Vallarta’s recently established Jazz Foundation (on the Malecon across the street from Bodeguita in Puerto Vallarta) will host a second spectacular evening with Miriam and Froyamel followed by another Milonga.
Both locations are open to the public without cover for these performances. Come early for the fine dining at reasonable prices offered by both locations.
Miriam Krashnan, originally from Mexico City, and Froyamel Corro, from Morelia, are both classically trained in ballet and modern dance. Their passion for Argentine Tango and their success at the World Tango Festival in Buenos Aires make them sought-after performers and teachers in competitions, festivals and workshops throughout Mexico. Here in Vallarta, they will hold workshop classes November 13 – 22.
