The Puerto Vallarta Chamber Orchestra and the Youth Orchestra will join forces with the local Ballet School to bring the Spring Concert 2016.
Save the date of Sunday, March 13 at 7:00 pm for the Spring Concert presentation of the Giselle Ballet.
The classic and romantic ballet of Giselle is a masterpiece of the romantic era and written by Adolphe Adam and is a beautiful story of love and tragedy which was first performed in Paris in 1841.
The ballet is about a peasant girl named Giselle, who dies of a broken heart after discovering her lover is betrothed to another. The Wilis, a group of supernatural women who dance men to death, summon Giselle from her grave. They target her lover for death, but Giselle's great love frees him from their grasp.
Tickets are 180 pesos for adults and 100 pesos for students and children. Your tickets may be purchased at the door on the evening of the event.
The venue will be the American School of Puerto Vallarta (ASPV) located at Calle Albatros 129 in Marina Vallarta.
