The annual Bugambilia Festival (Bougainvillea) includes four days of 100% free family fun from April 28 - May 1 in the heart of Puerto Vallarta with artistic, cultural, ecological and musical events.

Enjoy the maritime parade contest, theater plays, dancing, musical bands, interesting workshops, artisan pavilion by ethnic group: Huichol from Jalisco performing live as well as different artists, culinary expo and sale, parade along the boardwalk featuring “Charros” show and more.

In this fourth edition of the Bugambilia Festival, exhibitions and activities will take place around the Town Square by the Malecon beginning at 10:30 am and continuing until 11:00 pm.

On Thursday, April 28 there will be a shared parade between the Bugambilia Festival and the International Folklore Festival organized by the Vallarta Folkloric Group Azteca. It will begin at the Buenaventura Hotel at 6:00 pm and continue to the south end of the Malecon at Los Arcos. Participation includes folkloric groups, dancing horses, mariachi and dance groups.

On April 29 at 6:00 pm the Maritime Parade will head south from Marina Vallarta.

Artistic performances will be presented from 6:00 until 10:00 pm on April 30 with the performances and closing ceramonies on May 1.

An open invitation is extended to schools, companies and the public in general to be part of the adventure called “Bugambilia Festival” in promoting culture through the delicate world of flowers.
