The Salty Paw Jazz Orchestra (Pata Salada Orquesta de Jazz) presented by Orchestra School of Puerto Vallarta (OEPV) is a group open to all musicians in the city who would like to learn to improvise in jazz.
Thanks to the help of OEPV, after about 12 classes, The Salty Paw Jazz Orchestra will be giving its first presentation following the "Women's Ensemble of Strings and Woodwind" ("Ensemble Femenil de Cuerdas y Alientos") under the direction of Maestra Alexia Gomez on Thursday, July 21, 7:00 pm at Galerias Vallarta Shopping Mall (the Liverpool mall next to Walmart & Sam's Club).
This free concert will feature these terrific young musicians who have been learning how to improvise solos.
