Abuelita de Batman, which translates to "Batman's Grandmother", is a play full of comedy and social commentary written by Alejandro Licona, who has written over 50 plays and has done work for both film and television.
The five act play will begin its run tonight at the Cuale Cultural Center under the direction of Juan Pablo Hernandez Salcedo and featuring a cast of eight actors who are well known from their work as part of the Municipal Theatre Group and other independent companies that perform within Puerto Vallarta.
The play Abuelita de Batman, as part of a theatre collective, will be at the Cuale Cultural Center August 4, 5, 11 and 12 at 8:00 pm.
Tickets are 60 pesos general admission and 30 pesos for students and seniors.
The Cuale Cultural Center is located at Aquiles Serdan 433, int. 38, Isla Oriente Rio Cuale, the upper island of the Cuale River.
