Daiquiri Dick's and PEACEAnimals invite you to bring your furry friends for the annual Pet Picnic to take place this year on Saturday, December 3 at 11:00 am until around 2:00 pm.
We'll have a box lunch with choice of sandwich and doggie treats, a costume contest, raffles and other surprises.
If you have something wonderful to donate (dinners in private homes; sails on the bay; tennis or golf lessons with a pro; a piece of art; hotel overnights, villa overnights, etc; cooking classes; etc.) please contact Gretchen DeWitt of PEACEAnimals at gretchen@peaceanimals.org.
Donation tickets are 350 pesos in advance or 400 pesos at the door. Tickets can be purchased at Daiquiri Dick's.
Proceeds will benefit PEACEAnimals free mobile spay and neuter clinics that travel around Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit. This program is grass roots and reaches out to those that cannot afford to go to the vet and the service is free. They typically set up the clinic in colonias at homes, businesses or government buildings. The clinics run three and a half days and the vets have sterilized over 140 animals in that time frame. PEACE Animals operates on over 4000 companion animals per year. They have 501(c)(3) status in the U.S. with Banderas Bay Charities, Inc. (BBC Inc.)
