Thousands of tourists from Mexico and around the world meet in Puerto Vallarta to bring in the New Year in this beautiful city. The innumerable restaurants, nightclubs and especially the Malecon become the meeting point to enjoy this great celebration.
This year, there will be three evenings of free concerts heading into the New Year for the enjoyment of locals and visitors.
Join the celebration at Los Arcos on the Downtown Puerto Vallarta Malecon on December 29, 30 and 31.
Thursday, December 29:
8:00 pm - Chepis Band
9:00 pm - Ojo De Agua
10:00 pm - Cheko and Alex
Friday, December 30:
8:00 pm - After The Night Fall
9:00 pm - Los Cancles
10:00 pm - Joker
New Year's Eve - Saturday, December 31:
8:00 pm - Freddie Maguire
9:00 pm - Cultura Musical
10:00 pm - Mariachi Nuevo Continental
On New Year's Eve, stick around for the fireworks launched from the Malecon and all around Banderas Bay.
Immediately following the fireworks, you may want to head down to Old Town Vallarta for the always popular "all night" Olas Altas New Year's Eve Street Party where the street is closed off to vehicular traffic. Wear comfortable shoes for dancing on the cobblestone street.
Keep in mind that taxis will be almost impossible to find on this night.
