We call on all defenders of human rights to join us. We work peacefully while recognizing there is no true peace without justice and equity for all.

We celebrate social justice and social equality and we protest white supremacy, racism, bigotry, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, denial of climate change and all other forms of intolerance.

We stand as one, united and strong to move forward in peace with equal rights for all.

While this protest aligns itself with the Women's March on Washington DC taking place on the same day, it is not exclusive to the participation of women.

If you stand for social justice and social equality this is your opportunity to stand up and voice your concerns whether you are a citizen of the US, Canada, Mexico or another country.

We will meet at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 21 at the soccer field on Tercer Mundo in San Pancho, Riviera Nayarit.

We encourage everyone to wear white and bring water as we walk to Plaza del Sol where food will be available and guest speakers will be present. Golf-cart transportation will be available if needed.

For more information or to arrange for transportation from Puerto Vallarta to San Pancho, email Bonnie Mott at bonmott@hotmail.com.

Note from Linda Ellerbee: Not all of us can join the Women's March on Washington Saturday, and not all of us can make it to the march in San Pancho. Yet many of us feel a strong need to do something. SOMETHING. So Tricia Lyman, Maria O'Connor and Linda Ellerbee invite anyone who feels a need to show support for those who will march for us to gather at 10:30 Saturday morning here in Puerto Vallarta at the amphitheater (Los Arcos on the Malecon). We will not march. But we will stand up for women, and you don't have to be a woman to support the rights of women. I know this is last minute, but please join us. Just bring your body and your heart. And tell everyone you know. It's time to stir the stew. And it's not too late to get it together. It's not. Are you in?

We march to support and inspire each other and the nation to celebrate, honor and protect our diversity, freedom and human rights. We gather in community to find healing and strength through tolerance, civility, and compassion. This is a non-partisan march. We welcome all people to join us as we unite locally, nationally and internationally to stand together in justice, respect and inclusion for all. There are over 280 marches in 35 countries uniting well over 1,000,000 people worldwide.
