There will be 86 classic cars that participate in the XVII edition of Costa del Sol Classic Car Tour 2017.

A huge tradition in the car show environment is the Costa del Sol Tour, organized by the Guadalajara Automobile Club, which this year will leave Guadalajara to visit Chacala Beach, Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo.

This year will celebrate the seventeenth anniversary of this sporting event that joins auto clubs throughout the Republic and also promotes tourism.

The caravan is made up of 86 classic and old vehicles, which will be piloted by true lovers of speed and who will travel for more than three days on the roads of Jalisco, Nayarit and Colima.

Tour participants will be able to enjoy the natural landscapes such as the agave fields, the beautiful beaches of Riviera Nayarit, the charming Vallarta boardwalk (Malecon) and the traditional port of Manzanillo.

The Rally begins on February 23 in Guadalajara from Plaza Acueducto and will pass by the city of Tequila and head to the beach of Chacala where drivers will enjoy a meal by the sea. In the evening, they are scheduled to arrive in Puerto Vallarta.

It will be in this destination where an exhibition will be held to the public. The classic cars will parade from the Hotel Zone and are expected to arrive at the Puerto Vallarta Downtown Malecon on Thursday, February 23, beginning at 8:00 pm where you are invited to visit the public exhibition.

On Friday, February 24, the Secretary of Tourism of Puerto Vallarta will give the departure flag at 9:00 am to leave for Manzanillo, touring the "Golden Coast" and arrival at the Hotel Las Hadas.

Saturday will be a free day to enjoy the beach and attend the Gala Evening Awards Ceremony for the Rally winners.

On Sunday, February 26, the classic cars will depart for their return trip at 1:00 pm from Colima to Guadalajara.

It important to point out that this is a Rally of regularity, not speed, and for the participants to enjoy and share their passion for classic cars while enjoying the agave fields, forests, beaches, sea and the volcanic zone.
