It’s that time of year again! We are running another FREE training session for Volunteer Lifeguards on March 8 & 9 on the Northside Beach in front of La Terrazola.

The sessions will begin at 9:00 am and close around 5:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.

Since our space is limited, please register early. You can email Janice Parker at janandtommy@gmail.com, telephone is (322) 200-8492, or Geovani Perez at geo@sayulitasurfco.com, telephone is (322) 116-2816, to register.

Registration forms will also be available at the Mercado del Pueblo next Friday. Please see Janice Parker at the Pro Sayulita table to sign up.

Last season we trained 28 people. This training proved to be invaluable. Several rescues have been performed by last year’s trainees, one of them was life threatening.

This year's sessions will include training in water and land rescue techniques as well as CPR.

Come join us in helping to keep our beaches safer places to play. Your decision to join could save lives!
