If you're lucky enough to be in Puerto Vallarta between April 27 and May 7, you'll be treated to the 11th International Folkloric Dance Festival.
Dance troups from Mexico and South America come together for ten days of incredible performances in sharing the repertoire and traditional dress of the regions they represent.
The festivities begin with a parade on Thursday, April 27 at 6:00 which begins at Los Arcos on the Malecon and heads north to the Stadium where a Welcome Party will be held at around 7:00 to greet the more than 600 dance participants. This will be the "headquarters" for the festival.
With free performances beginning at 7:00 pm, you are welcome to Los Arcos on Vallarta's Downtown Malecon on April 27-30. Parque Hidalgo will be the venue on May 3, 5, 6 and 7.
