International Hummingbird Festival 2017, June 1 - July 31 (Vallarta Botanical Gardens)
Everyone is invited to come to the Vallarta Botanical Garden on Thursday, June 1 at 1:00 pm for the kick-off of the Puerto Vallarta 2017 Hummingbird Festival, a family-oriented educational event celebrating one of nature's vibrant aerial acrobats.
The Tuito Folkloric Dance Group has choreographed a special hummingbird dance especially for the occasion and will perform it for us on opening day.
Afterwards, and every day throughout the festival which runs through July 31, nature lovers of all ages can see and learn about these amazing birds and the Gardens that host and support them.
Guests will have plenty of opportunities to get an up-close-and-personal look at the wonderful world of the hummingbird while interacting with them and participating in a variety of activities focused on these amazing creatures.
Admission to the festival is free, Garden admission is 150 pesos per person.
Vallarta Botanical Gardens is located just south of Old Town Vallarta at Carret. Barra De Navidad Km. 24, Las Juntas and los Veranos, and is easily accessible by public transportation and taxi.
