This summer we hosted not one, but two internships here in Bucerías, and had the privilege of working with 15 outstanding university students from five different countries. Their projects focused on strengthening our local relationships and raising awareness about responsible tourism - a trend we are excited to see is growing around the world just as we continue to grow as an organization.

With the tour season right around the corner, we can't wait for what's in store. Read on to hear more about what's happening at HC.

We're Hiring!

HC is looking for an experienced sales professional to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals interested in the social sector and would be perfect for someone with experience in university relations or the travel industry. Volunteer Spotlight

Meet Nadiely, the volunteer who took over our English classes this summer. A recent graduate of the local Harkness Institute, she will be attending Whitman College in Washington this fall. We can't thank her enough for the energy and dedication she brought to our classes, and wish her the best on her next adventure. For more information, visit Teach English.

Student Blog

Check out blog posts from Kyle, Jenee, Alex, and Jazmin, students from Northern Illinois University who participated in our Global Internship and Leadership Development Program in June. In their blogs, they share their thoughts on the people and experiences that shaped their time in Mexico. A special thank you to Dr. Renique Kersh, the faculty leader for the Human Connections GILD trip. For more information, visit Global Internships.

Tour Season is Coming!

We're gearing up for another season of our popular Cultural Day Tours, a must for anyone visiting the Riviera Nayarit. Join us as we visit local artisans and small business owners in Bucerias and engage in conversations on community and culture. For more information and reservations, visit Human Connections.
