Hello all Thespians in the Bay of Banderas area!! (and that means you, too, Bucerias, Sayulita, San Pancho, Rincon de Guayabitos, Puerto Vallarta!)
Our little theater group in La Cruz will be doing an abbreviated version of "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown" end of January and beginning of February.
The dates are: January 29 & 30, February 1 & 2, February 4 & 5 with rehearsals in January.
We will be performing at three area restaurants in La Cruz: Tescalama, Langosta DIEZ and Octopus's Garden.
We are actively pursuing a male actor/singer to play the part of Linus - the laid back blanket wielding brother of Lucy - a second tenor role. He has one great song and 3 production numbers. His role is crucial to our show. Please, if interested let us know where you are located if you are interested (Mexico or other?).
Please contact myself - Sherry Jacobs by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 303-378-9950 (Colorado); or email Becky Grewer at email@example.com. She lives in Bucerias!
We are also in dire need of a piano player who cannot only play the music (which requires a proficient accompanist--although the music isn't super difficult it needs a person who has command of the keyboard) and can be at the rehearsals, as well. This is the most important person in the whole show!!!
Please use the above numbers and info if you are interested!! It is a very fun show which is about 40-45 minutes long. The numbers are very tuneful and funny, and will surely be a fulfilling experience for just the right persons!!
