I am writing this post to ask for the assistance of all my friends who love dogs.

My name is Charlie Escobedo and I have been rescuing street animals (especially dogs) since I was 6 - I'm 41 now.

Together with a couple of friends, I created a space I call "Rancho para perros Patitas Saladas" in El Ranchito, Jalisco, a rural community near Puerto Vallarta.

I usually pay for all the food and medicine expenses required every day. I also take care and clean for them personally every day.

During the past 3 years, more than 200 dogs have been taken off the streets in Vallarta and most of them have been given out for adoption. However, lately many dogs have been dumped outside my gates and lots of people (who have left their dogs with me) have not helped with their care. Even though I do my best to cover all their needs, sometimes it is very difficult (nearly impossible) to be up to date with food and vaccines for all.

As of now, I care for 45 dogs of all sizes and they can go through several pounds of food a day. Please help me do more for them and consider making a donation:
