October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month Events Pam Thompson-Webb - HealthCare Resources | |
October 1, 2017 |
Following are the details of the 3 events we will be having for October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
We hope that you will be able to attend! Please feel free to forward to anyone that you want to. Grab some friends and attend – enjoy the events! Many people have put a lot of work into making them successful for the community – just for you!
We do these events to create awareness, to honor our breast cancer survivors and to remember loved ones. And remember, these events are not just for ladies – men are more than welcome and men can and do get breast cancer as well.
Pink Wave Cocktail - San Javier Hospital - Friday, October 6 - 6:30 until 9:00 pm
Raffles, snacks both sweet and savory, wine and some pink beverages. Let’s kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month in style!
Wear some pink if you can.
Ice Cream Social - Vallarta Medical Center - Monday, October 16 - 2:00 until 4:00 pm
Let’s have some pink ice cream with toppings! Dr. Guillermo Ramos will be available to chat about breast health along with Dra. Claudia de Moral, our breast specialist.
Seriously, who doesn’t like ice cream?
Vallarta Medical Center is located at Av de Los Tules #138 (Southside of Plaza Caracol).
Pink Brunch - Diagnostic Integral Vallarta - Sunday, October 22 - 9:30 until 11:30 am
We invite you to join us for a Pink Brunch at the brand new, state of the art, Diagnostic Integral Vallarta, hosted by Dra. Claudia de Moral, our stellar radiologist and breast specialist and Dr. Jose Riva Palacio (Radiologist in charge). DIV features the brand new, state of the art digital mammogram machine with tomosynthesis.
As well, the beautiful breast imaging center features a private waiting area along with many other outstanding features. Enjoy a light brunch along with a mimosa, visit the new facilities and learn how this fascinating machine functions. Low-radiation and low pressure during the study as well.
Diagnostic Integral Vallarta is located at Av Francisco Villa #1389 (a couple of blocks north of Costco, west side of the street).
We hope you will participate in these events! They are all at no charge because we feel it is vitally important to promote knowledge and awareness.
