Puerto Vallarta Prepares for FIFA Beach Soccer Worldwide Cup 2017

Municipal Government staff, headed by Arturo Dávalos Peña, works in the conditioning of the venue that will be the location for the international fair to the Visit Puerto Vallarta Cup 2017 of FIFA Beach Soccer Worldwide, a world-class sporting event that will feature selected players from France and Colombia and that will promote Puerto Vallarta in more than 250 million homes in America, Europe, Asia and North Africa.

The event, which is part of the Beach Soccer Worldwide Tour, will have in this destination one of its best venues, from 20 to 22 October, in the space occupied by the IPEJAL grounds, in front of the sports unit "Agustín Flores Contreras."

Elements of the Public Works Department, these days build a "bowl" to expand the arena, which currently has dimensions suitable for beach volleyball contests in order to receive the beach soccer competition.

Once these technical specifications are met, the rest of the stage, including the stands of the stadium, will begin next week.

It is worth mentioning that it will be the first Beach Soccer tournament to be joined by the Mexican Football Federation, sponsored by a majority of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust and sponsored by FIFA in the sports section, of Municipal Tourism is in charge of organizing the event in our port, with the support of the Municipal Sports Council (COMUDE).

The tournament will be inaugurated on Friday afternoon and Sunday 22nd will be the closing and confirmed the presence of a former world champion, which ensures that several of the best exponents of this discipline will be in Puerto Vallarta.

The United States, France and Colombia, along with host Mexico, will be the four teams that will compete in the 2017 Puerto Vallarta Cup, according to Beach Soccer Worldwide. The former, an old rival of the Aztecs, in addition the former champions of the world of France and the emerging talent of Colombia, assure that it will be a first class event.
