6th World Meetings Forum 2018 (July 17-19)

The Riviera Nayarit will host the 6th World Meetings Forum (WMF), the top event in the meetings industry, at the Grand Vidanta Convention Center Nuevo Vallarta on July 17-19 of this year. It brings together the cream of the meetings, incentives, conventions, and events (MICE) sector.

VI Sea Turtle Festival (July 21 – 22)

With the arrival of a new turtle nesting and liberation season, Playa Platanitos, one of the Riviera Nayarit’s coastal villages, is gearing up for the 6th Sea Turtle Festival, set to take place from July 21-22, 2018. The event’s objective is to promote the care of the environment and the conservation of the sea turtle, as well as boosting tourism in a community of less than 100 inhabitants, most of whom are dedicated to commerce, fishing, and sustainable tourism.

12th Bahía de Banderas Marlin and Tuna Tournament (July 26-28)

The Riviera Nayarit is ready to welcome the 12th International Bahía de Banderas Marlin and Tuna Tournament, which be held July 26-28, 2018 at the Vallarta Yacht Club in Nuevo Vallarta’s Paradise Village. This tournament attracts the best fishermen from around the country and the world, convened by the Bahía de Banderas Sport Fishing Club.

Mexico’s Pacific Treasure is considered by experts to be one of the top destinations for sport fishing, as its more than 300 km (186 mi) of coastline are home to a fantastic diversity of species including wahoo, sailfish, mahi-mahi, tuna, marlin, roosterfish, sawfish, and snapper, among others. 6° World Meetings Forum 2018 (17-19 julio)

Riviera Nayarit será la sede del 6° World Meetings Forum 2018 (WMF), el evento líder de la industria de reuniones, que se llevará a cabo en el Grand Vidanta Convention Center Nuevo Vallarta los días 17, 18 y 19 de julio de este año, y congregará a lo más granado del sector reuniones, incentivos, convenciones y eventos (MICE por sus siglas en inglés).

VI Festival de la Tortuga Marina (21 – 22 julio)

Con la llegada de la temporada de anidación y liberación de tortugas, Playa Platanitos, pueblo costero de la Riviera Nayarit, se prepara para el 6° Festival de la Tortuga Marina, a realizarse los días 21 y 22 de julio de 2018. El evento tiene como objetivo promover el cuidado del medio ambiente y la preservación de la tortuga marina, además de impulsar turísticamente a una comunidad con menos de 100 habitantes, dedicados mayormente al comercio, la pesca y el turismo sustentable.

Playa Platanitos se localiza aproximadamente a 25 kilómetros del poblado de Las Varas, en el municipio de Compostela.

12° Torneo de Pesca Marlin y Atún Bahía de Banderas (26 – 28 julio) La Riviera Nayarit ya está lista para recibir el 12º Torneo Internacional de Pesca Marlín y Atún de Bahía de Banderas, que tendrá lugar los días 26, 27 y 28 de julio de 2018 en las instalaciones del Vallarta Yacht Club en el Paradise Village de Nuevo Vallarta. Este torneo atrae a los mejores pescadores del país y del extranjero, convocados por el Club de Pesca Deportiva de Bahía de Banderas A.C.

El Tesoro del Pacífico Mexicano es considerado por los expertos como uno de los mejores destinos para practicar la pesca deportiva ya que en sus más de 300 km de costa es posible encontrar una gran diversidad de especies como wahoo, pez vela, dorado, atún, marlín, pez gallo, pez sierra y pargo, entre otros, lo que garantiza buenas capturas en cualquier temporada del año.
