The 9th American Express Punta Mita Gourmet & Golf is coming this November 14-17th, 2019. Punta Mita Resort, The Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort, and The Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau will jointly host this exceptional culinary and golf event.
This event invites travelers to experience the best of Mexican cuisine, wine, tequila and mezcal with world-class golf in this unique and exclusive destination that is Punta Mita. With guest chefs and winemakers from around Mexico, this event is the perfect opportunity to play Jack Nicklaus’s world-class courses Bahia and Pacifico while also satisfying your palette!
Punta Mita residents and visitors are invited to celebrate the best of the destination’s amenities in a stunning oceanfront setting. The year’s most anticipated event plays on Punta Mita’s two Jack Nicklaus golf courses – Pacifico and Bahia – combined with unforgettable gastronomic experiences from the industry’s most talented Mexican chefs, mixologists and sommeliers:

Thursday, November 14th kicks the event off with famous golfer, Lorena Ochoa, the best Mexican golfer of all time and youngest woman to be distinguished into the Hall of Fame, with a face off against Craig “The Walrus” Stadler for the traditional Punta Mita Golf Challenge. Later that night will be the inaugural cocktail party at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita.
On Friday, November 15th, golfers play The American Express Golf Tournament in Punta Mita’s two Jack Nicklaus signature golf courses overlooking beautiful Banderas Bay. Following the golf enjoy culinary experiences in beautiful settings throughout Punta Mita at The St. Regis Punta Mita’s Sea Breeze, Sufi Ocean Club’s Sufito, Four Seasons’ Dos Catrinas and Kupuri Beach Club. In the evening, guest chefs will offer more unforgettable gourmet experiences in & around Punta Mita .
“Day Two” offers more food, drink and play on the Pacifico and Bahia courses. The golf tournament concludes the Punta Mita Cup Luncheon on Saturday, November 16th awarding prizes to the winners and followed by the closing dinner hosted by The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort. The online auction, an event tradition, is open to bids for exclusive experiences, luxury products and stays at the St. Regis and Four Seasons properties worldwide. Funds raised by the auction goes to the Lorena Ochoa Foundation which raises funds for kids and teens with social and economic disadvantages as well as local foundation PEACE.
