Virtual Learning for our Scholarship Students!

We would like to give a big shout out to Luis Morales of Birding San Pancho who put together an interactive virtual learning experience for some of our scholarship students. The children were encouraged to go on nature walks and complete drawing and writing assignments as they learned about the different birds that live in the jungle around them. Once they complete the assignments they receive their very own bird watching kit!

Thank you Luis for providing this inspiring experience for our students and their families!

Creative Women's Group Taking Glass Orders

Many of you know Dulce, but for those who don't she is a hard-working mother of 3 who has a leadership role in our Creative Women's group. One of the several techniques that she specializes in is glass cutting, so she has been coming in to complete any outstanding orders that we have in Entreamigos from before the closing. If you or someone you know in town would like to place a glass order for Dulce, please email us at info@entreamigos.org.mx.

Recycling Program Going Strong!

This month 1,650 lbs of plastic and 550 lbs of cardboard were collected off the streets of San Pancho and sent to the recycling center. Thank you to the recycling team for your hard work each day to keep these materials from ending up in a landfill or the ocean!

You can help our team by making sure that only clean glass, plastic, cardboard and aluminum are placed in the 140 bins throughout town!
