We are so excited to announce that Entreamigos has passed the health inspection for COVID safety protocols and we will be opening our doors to the public today, Wednesday, October 14th.
That means that in addition to our recycling program, food bank and scholarship programs, we will begin our library services and open our Gallery and ReciclaShop.
When you come in to visit us, please note some of the adaptations we've made:
- Reduced Hours: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm M - F
- Signs reminding everyone to wear a face mask and keep a social distance of 1.5m
- Separated entrance and exit to encourage social distancing
- Hand sanitizing station at the entrance
- Frequent disinfection of commonly used areas
- ReciclaShop moved to share the Gallery space
- Each space with a maximum of 30% capacity
As we adjust to these safety protocols over the next month, we will also begin to expand our tutoring program beyond the current 50 students and offer outdoor drop-in classes in art and story time. Additionally, we will continue to offer our weekly food bank through December, as over 130 community members continue to depend on this weekly support.
Monetary donations are also a HUGE support and how all of these important initiatives continue to run!
You can make a secure donation via credit card or PayPal, by clicking on Donate.
We want to thank everyone helping us to keep our community safe by adhering to these protocols and allowing us to provide these important services. While many of our programs have continued from behind closed doors, we have missed seeing your smiling faces and look forward to seeing you soon.
Thank you for continuing to support the important work of Entreamigos!
