JBAR is so very fortunate! Kate Noble, the author of the delightful Duffy the Dragon books has offered to donate 30% of all the sales of her books to help with our animal rescue. Each book can be personally dedicated making it a very personal gift that will delight the child in your life (or in you!) and also help our animals in need. A very special gift that will keep on giving!

Duffy the Dragon's adventures are beautifully, hand illustrated 24 pages rhyming verse fun stories that promote kindness and sharing. Parents and grandparents and others with small children in their lives (3-7 years old), enjoy reading these lyrical Duffy stories over and over again. Little ones love this big-hearted gentle dragon who is always ready to help others and sees the good in everyone.    

Duffy is a rare large red-winged juvenile King's Dragon, who lives at the Palace with his companion King and his two pals - Mizzle the Mouse (who lives in his horns) and Turtle the Cat. All Duffy tales are focused on promoting and celebrating the values of compassion, generosity, selflessness and joy.   

Duffy always uses his strength and size to come to the aid of others, especially little children and any creature that needs his help, like Mizzle the Mouse who found his safe home in Duffy's horns, and Turtle the Cat who Duffy rescued from a raging river. Duffy is a rescuer! And you can be too!

More Duffy books are in the planning for the future including a series titled "Duffy The Green Dragon" which focuses on environmental issues such as water conservation and recycling.
