Grupo Vidanta is hosting the second edition of the Delia Morán Vidanta Foundation Tournament, presented by the Riviera Nayarit and Crossem, on December 16th at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta.

The competition will be held at the spectacular Norman Signature course, the perfect setting for golf lovers to play 36 holes in the Stroke Play system within four different categories: A (0-12), B (13-22), C (23-32), and Ladies (0-32).

Jesús Manuel Torres Segura, director at Vidanta Golf Nuevo Vallarta, said the money collected during the tournament will go to benefit the non-profit Delia Morán Vidanta Foundation that focuses on helping the region’s vulnerable youngsters.

He added that, as a leading developer of golf courses in Mexico, Vidanta remains at the vanguard of the sector, citing the Norman Signature course as an example: this course offers the best of golf on paspalum grass from start to finish.

Marc Murphy, managing director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), said the Riviera Nayarit has consolidated itself as one of Mexico’s top golf destinations, increasing its standing among players thanks to its first-class courses and high-profile tournaments.

Currently, the destination has eight exceptional world-class courses designed by some of the best-known names in the business: Jack Nicklaus, Robert Von Hagge, Jim Lipe, Percy Clifford, and Greg Norman.
