Jay Sadler Project Live Stream Concert to Replace Lost Revenue from Chili Cook-Off The Jay Sadler Project | |
April 13, 2021 |
In 2020 the revenue raised at the Puerto Vallarta Chili Cook-Off enabled the Jay Sadler Project A.C. to help fund several Food Banks in the area as well as continue with their other good works in the community. Without a Chili Cook-Off this year, fundraising for the non-profit becomes even more important and difficult.
In order to replace a portion of the lost revenue, we present the Jay Sadler Project A.C. Charity Music Festival. Please check out the stories below on the "live-streaming" of this concert and where to purchase the few remaining tickets to this outstanding day of music, raffles, silent auction, food, and drink.
Please make sure to check out our other stories in this edition including a very important "Matching Funds Campaign." Thanks for your continued support. The Puerto Vallarta Chili Cook-Off will be back bigger and better than ever next year.
Now You Can Live Stream The Jay Sadler Project A.C. Charity Concert This Saturday
We realize a lot of our supporters did not make it to Puerto Vallarta this season and are back in Canada and the United States wishing they could see the concert and contribute to the cause. In addition, there are a lot of good friends right here in PV that got shut out as we were only allowed to sell 250 tickets.
For all of you, the entire event will be live-streamed on our Vallarta Chili Facebook page.(https://www.facebook.com/vallartachili) You'll see the entire event including live interviews, all the stage shenanigans (Sean Moore will be the emcee), the raffles, and 50/50 draws, and of course four of the best bands in the area. So check it out and help support a great cause. There will be a donation function during the live stream and you can always donate via our PayPal account at paypal.me/TheJaySadlerProject.
A Few Tickets Are Still Available
This event will sell out so you need to purchase your tickets in the next day or so at one of the following locations: Pinocho's; Blake's; and Captain Don's.
If you want to hear one of the very best bands in the greater Bay of Banderas area you'll want to arrive early as Calavera Beach goes on promptly at Noon. This band does not play Puerto Vallarta that often although you might have caught them at Blake's Restaurant and Bar in the Hotel Zone. So do yourself a favor and plan to come early, and stay late (La Trez Cuartoz, the last band, goes on at 5:15).
The Matching Funds Campaign
A strong supporter of the Jay Sadler Project A.C. and the Chili Cook-Off (who wishes to remain anonymous) has pledged to donate a considerable amount of dollars if we can get our other supporters to match that amount. We've made it easy for you to donate via our PayPal account at paypal.me/TheJaySadlerProject.
Click on the "send" button and donate any amount (dollars or pesos) and then below your pledge where it says, "Add a note" please write: Matching Funds. Remember, it's all for charity. For more information on the Jay Sadler Project A.C. visit their website here.
Support Us Year-round at The Puerto Vallarta Chili Cook-Off Store
Our store was created to provide an income source for the Jay Sadler Project (JSP) in the months between our fund-raising events. The profit portion of every purchase goes to the JSP to help us continue our efforts to serve the under-served communities of the greater Puerto Vallarta area.
We have a variety of men's and women's clothing along with other branded merchandise for you to choose from. In addition, we'd love to hear your suggestions for other items we might add to the store.
