Saving Lives With Water on the U.S.–Mexico Border (AJ+)

As we recently learned of FY 2021 being the deadliest year (on record) for the U.S./Mexico border, we hold that information with us as we navigated into the new calendar year, and will continue to do so week after week.

A new year also means new goals. There's always a drive to do more than ever before, however, strategy can be more effective. Where we leave supplies can be more important than the total number of supplies we leave.

Taking care of the environment is always a priority, and we aim to remove more trash from the desert than ever before in 2022.

We have shared before and after from that Saturday's cleanup of a heavily damaged section of the desert from recreational shooting. In total, we removed 296 pounds of trash.
