The 10th Annual Puerto Vallarta Chili Cook-Off and Music Festival will be held next Saturday, February 19!

General admission tickets are now available all over Puerto Vallarta.

If you've got a sure-fire-winning chili recipe or if you've ever referred to that pot of beans you make as "My Famous Chili", then enter the competition. Individuals are welcome to enter - 4 have so far - you don't have to own a bar or restaurant to enter your chili. We welcome your last-minute entry. It will be a fun experience.

In addition to the 20 restaurants and individuals bringing their best chili recipes, we've planned a full day of fun for the entire family. 3 of Vallarta's best bands will be featured, each doing a two-set gig.

The Murphy's Irish Pub Beer Gardens is sure to be a big draw selling domestic drafts as well as craft beer from Los Muertos Brewing. Mixed drinks and Wine can be found at the Nacho Daddy and Ofelia's booths, respectively. Ribs from El Torito, giant burritos from the Buricco Loco Food Truck, Tacos al Pastor from Tacos Diaz, and Mexican Seafood from Imperial Cocina can be found along 'Restaurant Row" on the left of the Cook-Off grounds. Elsewhere on the grounds, you'll find Tarts & Cookies from Kelly’s Messy Kitchen, Helados Artesanales from Helartesano, Cupcakes & Cookies by PV Cupcakes, Chocolate, Shaved Ice drinks and Mini Donuts from Cacao Magico, Coffee &Tea from Café Shekinah, and Cold Water and Sodas from the Jay Sadler Information Booth.

And please plan on taking home one or both of our "Official Cook-Off" souvenirs: The Cook-Off T-Shirt and/or the Cook-Off Beer Glass (featuring a special discounted price for buying them both). As with everything at the Chili Cook-Off, all proceeds fund the Jay Sadler Project A.C.

Judging by the advanced ticket sales we're looking at a fantastic turnout for the 10th annual Puerto Vallarta Chili-Cook-Off. Even though the Gold and VIP Premium Packages have Sold Out, you may still reserve your spot in the shade in the beautiful Colonnade.

You may access our ticket gateway here. Once inside, scroll down a bit and click on The Colonnade, and then at the bottom of that page, you'll see a "Buy Now" button. Clicking on this will open a seating plan where you may choose from the seats still available.

These General Admission tickets are $250, which is $50 less than you will pay at the gate on the day of the event. Plus you'll get in 30 minutes earlier with less waiting in line. All good reasons to get your tickets now.

We're Still Looking for a Few Good Chili Chefs

Even at this late stage we can still arrange for you to have a booth in "Chili Lane." There's no entry fee to enter your chili, but you do have to make a lot of it - 5 gallons, at a minimum (we want your chili to last the day). In return, you're going to get your own 10' x 10' space (canopy, table, chairs) and a chance to wow the hundreds of attendees as well as our panel of professional judges. Space is at a premium with only a few open spots remaining.

The Cause: The Jay Sadler Project (JSP) is a Jalisco based non-profit doing good works in the less-fortunate communities of the greater Bay of Banderas area. They provide necessary resources to improve various institutions in the Banderas Bay area and Puerto Vallarta.
