Saving Lives With Water on the U.S.–Mexico Border (AJ+)
We wouldn’t have predicted that this winter would have days where we would be hiking in high-80s temperatures, but there we were. The Water Drop team was ready, and the trek was long and warm.
The team left no canyons unchecked and supplied numerous canyons where traffic is still very present and where supplies are very necessary. Following footprints and finding discarded items helped guide our group to choose optimal drop sites. 25lbs of trash was collected and removed from the desert.
