Vallarta Pride is an annual pride celebration held the last week of May. It was founded in 2013 to honor Puerto Vallarta’s diverse LGBTG+ community, both residents and visitors. Arts and cultural activities, concerts, films, beach parties, and a variety of entertaining outdoor performances will be held to exhibit the world of Puerto Vallarta’s great diversity. Here are all the official Pride events you don’t want to miss:

There is no better way to start this celebration than attending the March for the World Against Homophobia (7:00 pm). Marching helps influence public opinion, draws attention to and shares an important message to the world: to demand change.
Wednesday, May 25, 2022
Kick-off Vallarta Pride at the Pink Dinner Fundraiser (7:30 pm) at the top of Alma Resort with an incredible ocean view and delicious food. Once the dinner is over, the official party begins! Head to the One Six One bar, where music, cocktails, beer, and lovely people will be waiting for you.

We march again this day at 7:00 pm on the Vallarta Pride Parade! It’s full of color, happiness, and a great party spirit. The vibrant procession will take place from the Hotel Sheraton to Zona Romantica, promising a powerful political statement and, of course, a lot of fun.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. Vallarta Pride Block Festival (2:00 pm – 2:00 am) brings two stages of talents, vendors, performances, and world-class celebrities that will highlight your day with a night to remember.
Friday, May 27th, 2022
This can’t be called the best event of the year without a Sunset Cruise! Onboard the Limo Lux at Marina Vallarta (5:00 pm), one of the bay’s largest and most luxury catamarans, join your host Jet de la Isla for a wonderful night of excellent food, incredible entertainment, and a breathtaking sunset in the incredible Bay of Banderas. Chef Roman Ventura of Puerto Vallarta has crafted a delectable menu of gourmet hors d’oeuvres to tempt your taste buds while you enjoy quality beverages and exciting entertainment such as singing phenomenon Karma La Perra, DJ Danni Boy, dancer Juan Pablo King, and more. This is an event not to be missed, as a portion of the revenues will be donated to SETAC.

Ready to watch the annual drag race? The Annual Pulpito Drag Derby (5:00 pm – 8:30 pm) is a massive block party with music, laughs, entertainment, and an amazing drag race. Head over to Calle Pulpito and enjoy this incredible event.
And lastly, get ready for the main event of the weekend PARAISO (2:00 pm – 1:00 am) at Mantamar Beach Club. Party to the music of Dj’s Phil Roamno, Aron, Joe Pacheco, and Diego Alvarez.

We have entered the month of Pride! Pride is a beautiful time in Puerto Vallarta because a city already so alive and beaming with color becomes even more vibrant.
Celebrations of identity and expression that form a community radiate through the town and make us even more thrilled to be here.
As our city welcomes new additions to the community like Therapy and Studs: Leather Bar, Dog-friendly cafes and parks, and even changes to our very own GayPV.com, we are expecting a record setting summer season.
