The 80s Cruise Highlight Reel (The 80s Cruise)

The 80s Cruise launches its first ever nationwide Battle of the Bands contest to find the best 80s party band in the land to join superstars and superfans when it sails next March from Los Angeles to Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta. The winning band will receive a total prize package worth over $50,000, including a $20,000 cash prize, up to six cabins aboard the seven-day cruise, flights and hotel to Los Angeles, and the chance to perform in front of thousands of 80s fanatics.

Entries must be submitted through The 80s Cruise website by October 26, 2022, along with a photo and video not longer than four minutes (one submission per band). Finalists will be announced on November 8 and fans will vote for their favorite band via The 80s Cruise website. The winner will be announced on December 1.

The contest is open to all entrants at least 21 years of age who are legal residents of the United States (valid passports required). Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Please see contest website for official entry rules.

The 80s Cruise sails March 3-10, 2023, from Los Angeles with stops in Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta. The non-stop party includes celebrity-led events, along with more than 50 concerts and live performances. The artists scheduled to perform onboard The 80s Cruise in 2023 include Devo, Bret Michaels, The Church, Kim Wilde, Morris Day and The Time, Howard Jones, Living Colour and more.

The 80s Cruise takes place aboard the Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas. The annual event is known for its jam-packed lineup of awesome activities, excellent events and totally tubular theme nights.
