Category 4 Hurricane Roslyn has left many residential homes and families along the river in a state of devastation.

Roslyn swept through Sayulita Saturday/Sunday. The overflowing river and flooding due to the heavy rains severely affected people's homes and businesses. Some families have lost absolutely everything including clothing, food, mattresses, furniture, and basic necessities.



Our community is rallying behind efforts to provide as much assistance to these families as possible. Here is how you can help:

Direct cash donations: A GoFundMe has been set up by local residents and all donations will be dispersed amongst local families and anyone else who is in dire need of help. You can make a donation here: GoFundMe donations for Sayulita Hurricane Relief

Drop off physical donations at the following locations:

• Church on Sayulita Plaza
• CVIS School on Revolucion

All donations are welcome but items urgently needed include:

• Crackers
• Cereals
• Baby food
• Pet food
• Clothing
• Bedding
• Towels
• Toilet paper
• Sanitary towels

Sayulita Community Coming Together

If you are in the area and would like to offer additional support, the Mangal and Tamarindo neighborhoods need help shoveling the tremendous amount of mud that entered the homes. Please come with a shovel.
