The Rotary Club of Carpinteria’s international 2023 project will focus on a music program in Los Volcanes, Mexico, near Puerto Vallarta.
The club has been supporting the youth group for two years; it is also sponsored by the Santa Barbara/Puerto Vallarta Sister City Committee.
The youth band has more than 50 members, and the group plans to use funds to purchase new instruments, music stands and a sound system.
Rotary members and program participants are improving lives in communities around the world every day through thousands of service projects. Explore the good work that we’re doing locally and globally, and share these projects through social media.
