Roberto Ramos Vázquez, General Director of the institution, emphasized that the timely compliance with the governance plan is a commitment of this administration in which a methodology is established with clear and precise strategies to put into practice what is set forth in the documents, "we are dignifying the public service, we want to leave a precedent in the attention to this sector."
As part of the actions that have been carried out, in a historic event for Puerto Vallarta, the DIF System has made it possible for a homoparental couple to receive in their home, under the modality of foster care, one of the children sheltered by the institution. The main objective is to provide the child with a family environment that will provide him with the necessary elements for his well-being and future development. This step represents a valuable alternative for the child to live in a home and establish affective bonds with people who will care for and love him/her.
