As you may have heard, this week Hurricane Lidia caused major damages in Puerto Vallarta, but we've got a more critical situation in Cabo Corrientes and Tomatlán. Things were tough after the hurricane but have gotten even tougher with heavy rain and flash floods making the need for help even more urgent.

In Tomatlan, it's heart-wrenching - more than 1,400 families have lost everything, and almost 800 homes have sustained major damages. Right now, they're running low on basic necessities like food and water, and the town has been cut off for days due to the landslide.

In Cabo Corrientes, it's tough to get a clear picture right now. Preliminary signs are not great, with around 60% of the whole area suffering substantial damage.

They desperately need immediate help - food, water, tarps or laminas, mosquito repellent, and shoes. These communities are in a tough spot, and your support can truly make a difference during this challenging time. Please consider contributing to the hurricane relief fund and helping these communities rebuild and recover.

Our team at Vallarta Food Bank is ready to help, we just need your support.
