In our mission to rescue sick and needy animals from the streets, Sayulitanimals faces a constant battle.

Along with medical aid, there are costs for vaccines, flea and tick treatment, deworming medications and basic expenses like dog food.

Weekly Spay & Neuter Program

Sayulitanimals is the ONLY Weekly Spay & Neuter program in the entire state.

In 2022, we sterilized a remarkable 785 animals. So far, in 2023, the count is nearly 600.

Our weekly spay and neuter program is not just a service, it is a lifeline for local families and other rescue organizations. Several local rescue groups rely on Sayulitanimals for their spay & neuter needs.

Every Wednesday, Sayulitanimals performs this vital service, and the vet costs alone run $450usd. This is not including the cost of anesthesia, sutures, and other materials/expenses.

Donation Center in Jeopardy: Spay & Neuter Program at Risk

Our Donation center/T-shirt shop has long been the backbone for Sayulitanimals funding. It plays as vital role in sustaining the spay & neuter program.

However, due to changes at the hotel where we've rented space, we're facing closure at the end of this month. Compounded by the lull of tourist activity in the summer months, the uncertainty of funding looms large.
