How We Were Born

In 2011, Erik Ramírez Ruíz believed in the power of communities and leadership. Together with our founding team, he modeled our theory of change from the experience of Teach For All and Teach For America. Since 2011, Erik started the Enseña por México team and created the necessary alliances to begin the operation of the program. Thus it was that in 2013 the first generation of Enseña por México Professionals (PEM) emerged in the state of Puebla, with young people committed to education in Mexico.
