The mission of AVODAH is to demonstrate and spread the love and message of Jesus to children, teens, and young adults in need in the Puerto Vallarta and surrounding area.
Who We Are:
We experienced God's calling in 2016 at Paradise Church in Puerto Vallarta, when we heard a sermon where the pastor talked about how he and his wife were called by God to feed hungry children in Puerto Vallarta. They sold everything they had and did just that. We immediately knew that we were called to do something similar. Here we are, seven years later, ready to do what God called us to do.
Our nonprofit organization, AVODAH, a Hebrew word translated in English as "work, worship and service", is now official and we are working on relocating to Puerto Vallarta. We couldn't be more excited to be serving God in this way!
What We Do:
We are currently working with students in Boca de Tomatlan (a small fishing village South of Puerto Vallarta), teaching English, as we search for permanent housing in the Puerto Vallarta area. Our vision is to establish ourselves in a small rural community and provide educational, skills-based, and spiritual growth opportunities to enhance young lives with options.
