This year the Vallarta Yacht Club is honored to have the WesMex Regatta chosen as one of five national regattas in the Mexican Circuit by the class associations of Optimist, Laser, and 420s. Now in its ninth year, International WesMex Regatta 2014 will be a qualifier for the Mexican Sailing Team to represent the country in various international youth competitions.
Headquarters for the WesMex Regatta 2014 will be the Vallarta Yacht Club with registration, training and racing on March 26 - 30, 2014.
Early arrivals and training at VYC will begin at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, March 26, with late registrations and optional training on March 27 from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.
The Opening Ceremony will take place in the Paradise Village Ampitheater on March 27 from 4:30 until 6:00 pm.
Final registration is available on Friday, March 28 between 9:00 & 10:00 am, followed by the Skippers Meeting from 10:00 - 11:00 am.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday four races are scheduled between 12:30 and 5:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:00 on Friday at the Vallarta Yacht Club.
All competitors, officials and volunteers are invited to a party at the Hard Rock Hotel in Nuevo Vallarta beginning at 7:00 pm on Saturday, March 29.
The Paradise Village Ampitheater will be the venue for the Closing Ceremony and Awards after the last race on Sunday at 7:15 pm.
