Pitch in with the USS William P Lawrence for Community Relations Work Days
The USS William P Lawrence, DDG 110 will be arriving in Puerto Vallarta on Friday, October 9th and departing on Monday, October 12th.
The crew will be joining American Legion Post 14 and the Navy League in two days of Community Relations work.
30+ volunteers have already signed up but extra hands are always needed to help improve our community.
The American Legion Post 14 has been busy all summer in several projects with participation by the Navy League and have completed the following:
• Luis Medina Casillas Jardín de Niños in Ixtapa (Kinder Care School)
• C.A.D.I. Nursery/Day Care Center for children 6 months to four years: Locations in Ixtapa, Aurora,
• Playgrounds at San Vicente del Mar and El Guamúchil.
• CANICA Program (Children with Cancer)
• Aurora Playground
Current projects underway are:
• Phase II of Luis Medina Casillas KinderCare
• Colonia 12 de Octubre - Salón Multiusos Community Center
• Jardin de Ninos 18 de Marzo KinderCare
