Join American Legion Post 14 and the Navy League of Puerto Vallarta in touring the USS William P Lawrence on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 10:00 am.
The US Navy ship is anchored in the bay, so it is necessary to arrive for the transport boat promptly at 9:45 or sooner so you won't miss the boat.
You must bring identification in the form of photo government ID, drivers license, Mexican immigration card or passport. Credit or business cards will not be accepted.
Dress code is casual and long pants are suggested. For the ladies, long pants are also suggested but no mini skirts please. Tennis shoes or comfortable soft sole shoes are best.
Reservations with all names in your party must be submitted by 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 10 to allow time for submission to the ship. E-mail names to dennis2rike@hotmail.com.
We'll meet at the Maritime Marina, enter gate 15 if walking or 16 for a car. The gates are near the traffic light and across from the Vallarta Casino near Sam's Club.
The crew of the William P Lawrence will also be doing Community Relations Work on Saturday at the KinderCare School or on Monday at the Community Center. Everybody is welcome to help. Just arrive at the same dock as above by 8:30 am.
