We have more than 15 years of experience in providing care, shelter and rehabilitation to rescued dogs in Puerto Vallarta. To date, we have already matched more than 1000 dogs with adoptive families around the world!
We’ve dedicated our lives to help animals
What is LADRA?
Las Animas Dog Rescue Association (LADRA – which also means “bark” in Spanish) was formed by Brischa and Ted Borchgrevink, in 2012 to rescue dogs in the Puerto Vallarta area. LADRA operates with the aid of donations, volunteers, and friend organizations.
What We Do
Rescuing Animals: We help sick, injured and abandoned pets – no matter what circumstances.
Giving Love: Dogs need love and affection to be well and happy: we love to spend our time with them.
Spay & Neuter: All our newbies get spayed and neutered as soon as they are ready.
Finding A Home: Finding an ideal and loving furever home for our darlings is what drives us.
Adopt & Foster
Save a life and be rewarded with a new best friend! Many of our dogs are currently looking for a family that will give them the love they deserve. We promise you that you will not regret it! Browse Our Dogs
