Our Mission is to give the street and shelter dogs of Mexico a fighting chance. Dog For Life started a feeding program to help the strays and families with dogs during the pandemic. We started in April 2020 by making our own feeding tubes that we fill daily in certain areas. This is done by donations which we are in great need of to keep our program going.

We have also teamed up with The Sula Society rescue to open a huge shelter in Ixtapa and currently house over 80 dogs and pups. Its a dream of ours to have this sanctuary shelter and would be happy to have you visit.

Dog For Life is a very small non-profit volunteer rescue group who work and live in Puerto Vallarta and have ties in Victoria. Dog For Life differs from other, larger rescue groups in that we personally work with each dog in Mexico and are part of their entire journey from the shelter in Puerto Vallarta to their “furever” homes. We take great care in ensuring they are well and placed in the best possible homes.
